December 9, 2021. Oakville Blades @ Brantford 99ers

The Blades started a three-day three-match match in Brantford with the 99-man team.

Oakville hopes to return to victory after losing to Pickering in the teddy bear throwing game last Saturday.

An important storyline is the Associated Press goalkeeper Claudio Adelini starting for Oakville. An AP player in hockey is someone who is eligible to play on their team and play on another team that is older or higher in the department.

So coach Rose Sloan allowed the rookie to begin his first major test in OJHL.

The game started well for Adelini, who made several outstanding saves in the first two to three minutes.

Unfortunately, when Brendan Anderson scored, the Blades gave up 2 to 1, and with the assistance of Easton Wainlet and Chris Fugalis, the 99-man team led 1-0.

The Blades had their chance, but they couldn't take advantage of it, so the period ended with 1-0 99ers.

The second stage saw more of the same content from the blade. Our team kept getting opportunities, but Brantford's defense and goalkeeper completed the task and shut down Oakville's offense.

Brantford relied on Joseph Meleka's goal, assisted by Jaden Lee and Kurt Watson, to rewrite the score to 2-0.

There were no more points during this period, and Brantford led 2-0 at the end of the second quarter.

In the third quarter, Brantford started again quickly. Ryan Vannetten scored with the assists of Marek Wanack and Easton Wainlet, and Brantford led 3-0.

Oakville, assisted by Matthew Wang and Brendan Bowie, Adam Tucci's goal allowed Oakville to return to the game and the 99ers led 3-1.

After that goal, the Blades tried to score another goal, but Justin Wu stood firm and made some excellent saves, especially against Parker Murray at the end of the game. The 99-man team won the game 4-1.

After the game, Jack Black commented on why Brantford beat Oakville many times this season. He said: "They work hard. They are difficult to predict. They are ready to participate in every shift. They started tonight better than us. Better. I think our start is a bit slow. If we start slowly, it won’t help our game. That’s why they find us faster."

December 10, 2021. Georgetown Raiders @ Oakville Blades

After a hasty game against Brantford, Oakville returned home to face another Western Division opponent of the Georgetown Raiders. The Blades have not beaten them this season.

The Blades hope their game will start much better than against Brantford.

Unfortunately, due to Brandon Gake’s assist from Chris Ismail in a turnover from Oakville’s Josh Codor, the Blade’s game started to get worse, making Georgetown’s team. Lead 1-0.

In the rest of the first quarter, the Georgetown team had many high-risk meetings, but Cole de Fazio kept the score at 1-0. The team scored a goal with Oakville at the intermission of the first game.

At the beginning of the second quarter, the blade had a sense of urgency.

Their attack began to sound. The Blades began to get high-quality scoring opportunities on Georgetown goalkeeper Sebastian Labola.

When Aidan Taylor scored the first OJHL goal of his career with the assistance of Mason Zebeski and Jacob Crisp, Oakville finally paid off. Their efforts went 1-1. draw.

In recent games, the Blades have been struggling for their strong play, but this time Chase Strychaluk sent the rebound home with the assists of Adam Tucci and Brendan Bowie, giving Oakville a 2-1 lead.

After that, Oakville found himself caught in another game of power. Once again, Chase Strychaluk found Cole Weinger and Brendan Bowie assists to extend Oakville's lead to 3-1. This is how the second period ended.

The start of the third quarter was not the best for Oakville. The Blades hope to continue playing a stress-free third game, but the Raiders have other ideas.

Four minutes into the third quarter, Brandon Jake used Jacob Crisp's error to rewrite the score to a 3-2 Blade team.

With less than 10 minutes left in the game, Rees Chidenton scored vigorously with the assists of Peter Stojchevsky and Owen Holmes, chasing the score to 3-3.

With the reversal of momentum, the Blades need to reverse the situation drastically.

The Blades won the rush 3 in 2 chances, and Brendan Bowie passed the puck to Andrew Brown. Brown beautifully passed the ball to Adam Tucci, who shot the ball into the empty net and the score became 4-3.

In the rest of the game, the Blades fought hard and finally won 4-3, and won the game against their opponents in the division.

After the game, Blades goalkeeper Cole De Fazio commented on how he can stick to the Georgetown team with 39-20 shots. He said: "The more I shoot, the more I feel there. Good. My team allowed me to participate in the game and it felt great. I owe all the credit to my defense; they also showed me the shots and their blocked shots, which is great."

December 11, 2021. Oakville Blades @ Georgetown Raiders

After a big victory the night before, Oakville was in high spirits and hoped to end their week with another victory against the Raiders in Georgetown.

This season, Oakville's luck in Georgetown is not good. They hope to reverse the situation in this game.

The first stage saw a very balanced game, and both sides had a chance. Very different from the day before, Georgetown defeated Oakville in the first stage.

Then the momentum changed. Due to Kudo's lightning speed, the blade's Owen Wilson suddenly appeared during a partial break, Josh Kudo. Kudo then passed the ball to Chase Strychaluk, who scored and gave Oakville a 1-0 lead.

Soon after scoring, at the end of the first quarter, Oakville took the most important first lead of the game.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Chase Strychaluk (Chase Strychaluk), assisted by Adam Tucci and Parker Murray, took the first place in the second and last two games of the game. Scored again in four games, extending Oakville's lead to 2-0.

Soon after, Evan Pringle, assisted by Josh Kudo and Chase Strychaluk, made a strange rebound and extended the score to 3-0.

There were no more points in the rest of the time, but Oakville goalkeeper Tristan Malboff kept his lockout at the end of the second quarter and kept the score at 3-0.

With the assistance of Aiden Taylor and Zach Weigel, Mason Zebeski scored another goal four minutes after the start of the third quarter, rewriting the score to 4-0 for the Blades.

Soon after that, the Blades made five consecutive kills in three penalty kicks, keeping Malbov's lockout intact.

Oakville's Chris Gjoncaj kept the score at 4-0 with three consecutive blocks, thus highlighting the penalty kick.

Time passed by, and with 20 seconds left in the game, Georgetown hit the goal post and almost scored, but it was as close as the Raiders scored.

Oakville won the game 4-0 and Tristan Malboeuf was eliminated by OJHL for the first time in his career.

After the game, Malboff commented on his first lockout, saying: "It feels great. The team did a great job. I even told them in the locker room that if we don't block those shots, it won't happen. This situation. This is a great team victory."

Chase Strychaluk commented on his recent success. He said: "I am using Powerplays. Three of the four have left powerplay, so my teammates found me there. I just put the hockey puck behind the Internet."

Strychaluk talked about how Oakville was able to succeed after losing to Georgetown at the beginning of the season. He said: "I just think we have become better as a team. We are really young, so we are becoming more and more. Okay, and I think it shows that we are now beating them after losing to Georgetown earlier this year."

After this week's game, Oakville is now second in the Western Conference with 35 points, 3 points behind Burlington, and a record of 17-11-0-1.

Oakville's next game will be Friday against the Brantford 99ers at 16 miles because they hope the game will be better than Thursday's game.
