The "Blade Runner" franchise is in full swing, and is actually becoming a franchise, rather than a few distant movies now. Ridley Scott (Ridley Scott) revealed today that he is producing a new TV show set in the world of Blade Runner, and has written the pilot and the "Bible". He also pointed out that there was also a pilot episode of the Alien TV program that debuted last year.

"We have started writing pilot episodes for "Blade Runner" and "The Bible," Scott said in an interview on BBC4 radio. "So "Blade Runner" has been presented as a TV show, so what might be the first 10 hours (will), and then Alien is also something similar. Aliens are now writing for pilots."

This means that the show may be a 10-episode series, but it also shows that their goal is a multi-season show, rather than any type of limited series of Blade Runner. The Bible in the series lists the rules of the universe and the storyline of the first performance, which means that they are far from it in terms of creation. There is currently no home for this TV show, but HBO Max seems to be a good candidate because Scott and the owner of Blade Runner IP, Alcon Entertainment, work closely with Warner Bros.

The instinctive response to the expansion of a classic movie into a multi-platform franchise may be to roll your eyes, but it's hard to get angry at the franchise that has delivered two movie masterpieces and a somewhat unexpected groundbreaking video game.
