WWE 2K22 has 221 wrestlers by the time all post-launch DLC have been released. Here are the superstars and legends who didn’t make the cut.

While some could argue that a majority of these superstars would just be fluff and that no one would play them, there is still a significant number of superstars, champions, no less, who should have made it to the game. In addition to that, this actually shows us the potential of the WWE 2K games’ rosters in the future, as the company continues to develop new talents and build up a bigger roster of talent for future games. Hopefully, we see more NXT 2.0 and NXT UK wrestlers in next year’s entry and see more championships represented in the base game!

Of course, many of these wrestlers have varying degrees of closeness with WWE. Many of these have also moved on to other promotions, even having prominent roles in them. That’s why it’s understandable why many of these superstars will no longer appear in WWE games. Still, this list shows a lot of talent that we’ll miss seeing in WWE 2K22. Thankfully, there are a lot of creators out there who can make these characters through CAW. That’s one of the saving graces of any short WWE 2K game. We’re sure that there are even more that should make it to this list, but that will already span the entirety of WWE’s / WWWF’s history, which might no longer be relevant to many of today’s audiences.
