DeWalt takes circular saw blades back to the drawing board with a new design that makes your cuts straighter and more accurate over the life of the blade. The main talking point about the DeWalt Woodcutting Circular Saw Blade revolves around the ToughTrack technology the design team incorporates into the design. This new tooth design uses an ATB+R tooth grind.
The “R” here stands for “Raker”. Every third tooth is flat on top, which allows for better tracking and straighter cuts by straightening the blade between the left and right ground teeth. The DeWalt’s raker tooth is actually higher than other manufacturer’s ATB+R blades. This helps in clearing debris from the cutting path, allowing for better tracking.
The end result is a blade that DeWalt claims cuts more smoothly and as effectively toward the end of its life as it did out of the package.
